Human Cardiotrophin 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this 2 hour sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is supplied in a QuickRun format for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cardiotrophin-1 in cell or tissue lysate and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and optimized ready-to-use reagents to reduce assay time. Standards and samples are added to wells where Cardiotrophin-1 binds the immobilized capture antibody; an assay-specific biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin are then added to form an antibody-antigen-antibody sandwich complex. TMB substrate is added to visualize the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow after the addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The assay is specific for Cardiotrophin-1 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. Validated sample dilutions include healthy serum at 1:2 and healthy plasma at 1:2-1:5.
