The Antibodies.com Human CEACAM7 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CEACAM7 (Carcinoembryonic Antigen Related Cell Adhesion Molecule 7) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for CEACAM7 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-CEACAM7 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a yellow product after addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of <0.062 ng/ml and a standard curve range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date. Validation data show average recovery of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81–101%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 yields recoveries of 87–107% in serum, 79–108% in EDTA plasma, and 82–105% in heparin plasma.

Contents include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 μl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml), and 5 adhesive plate sealers.
