Human Carcinoembryonic Antigen Related Cell Adhesion Molecule 6 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich ELISA for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Carcinoembryonic Antigen Related Cell Adhesion Molecule 6 (CEACAM6) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for CEACAM6 immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-CEACAM6 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to develop the signal, which is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay range is 23.4–1500 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <9.68 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported recovery (n=5) covers Serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA Plasma 81%–101% (average 91%) and Heparin Plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity data is provided for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions across the same three matrices.
