Human Carcinoembryonic Antigen Related Cell Adhesion Molecule 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CEACAM1 (Carcinoembryonic Antigen Related Cell Adhesion Molecule 1) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-CEACAM1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow after addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of CEACAM1 captured.

Sensitivity is reported as 0.57 ng/ml and the standard curve spans 1.56–100 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Validated recovery values are 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–101% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma.
