Human Carboxypeptidase E ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Carboxypeptidase E (CPE) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for CPE; standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-CPE Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with CPE concentration calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The assay range is 0.625-40 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.221 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date. Reported recoveries (n=5) are: Serum 80%-102% (average 91%), EDTA Plasma 81%-100% (average 90%), and Heparin Plasma 80%-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 has been characterised for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%).
