Human Carboxypeptidase A4 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Carboxypeptidase A4 (CPA4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs a biotinylated anti-CPA4 detection antibody together with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported performance includes an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of less than 0.051 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. In spiked recovery testing (n=5), average recoveries were 91% in serum (range 80-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Linearity was demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
