Human Carbonyl Reductase 3 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Carbonyl Reductase 3 (CBR3) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for CBR3 pre-coated onto a microplate, with a biotinylated anti-CBR3 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualize the reaction, producing a yellow-coloured product after addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.066 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery averages were 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma, with corresponding recovery ranges of 80-102%, 81-100%, and 80-89%.
