Human Carbonic Anhydrase XII ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Carbonic Anhydrase 12/CA12 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for Carbonic Anhydrase 12/CA12, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Standards and unknowns are quantified against a standard curve covering 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a stated sensitivity of <0.124 ng/ml and total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery is 91% from serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 96% from EDTA plasma (range 90–103%, n=5), and 95% from heparin plasma (range 89–102%, n=5). The kit is supplied with a pre-coated plate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
