Human Carbonic Anhydrase VI ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Carbonic Anhydrase VI (CA6) in serum, plasma, saliva, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

An antibody specific for Carbonic Anhydrase VI is pre-coated onto the plate. Standards and test samples are added, and a biotinylated anti-CA6 antibody is used for detection, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the reaction stopped using an acidic stop solution. The assay has a stated sensitivity of <29.3 pg/ml and a working range of 62.5-4000 pg/ml. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the total assay time is approximately 4h 30m.

Reported mean recovery is 91% for serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity is provided for each sample type at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
