Human Calretinin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Calretinin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Calretinin, configured as 12 x 8 well strips. A biotinylated anti-Calretinin detection antibody binds the captured analyte, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.121 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol. Spike-and-recovery testing across five replicates gave average recoveries of 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma, with linearity maintained across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each of the three sample types.
