Human Calpain 6 ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated anti-Calpain 6 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <0.117 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

The manufacturer provides sample performance data (n=5) showing ranges and averages for serum (80–102%, 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, 84%), alongside dilution linearity values at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each matrix. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.
