The assay uses an antibody specific for CacyBP pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-CacyBP Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is achieved with TMB substrate solution, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, read at 450nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.
