Human Calcineurin ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Calcineurin A in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

Calcineurin A is captured on a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for the target. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Calcineurin A Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and is proportional to the amount of Calcineurin A captured in each well, with concentration calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is below 0.055 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Average recovery in serum is 91% (range 80%–102%, n=5), in EDTA plasma 90% (range 81%–100%, n=5) and in heparin plasma 84% (range 80%–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity is demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
