Human Calbindin ELISA Kit

The assay employs a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Calbindin detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with colour development using TMB substrate and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. The manufacturer cites a sensitivity of <5.7 pg/ml and an assay range of 12.5–800 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit is validated for serum, plasma and tissue homogenate samples. Reported recovery across sample types (n=5) is summarised as serum 80–102%, EDTA plasma 81–100% and heparin plasma 80–89%. Dilution linearity data is provided at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
