Human Cadherin 5 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human VE Cadherin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format. An antibody specific for VE Cadherin is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-VE Cadherin antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The reaction produces a yellow product measured at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is <0.52 ng/ml with a standard range of 1.56-100 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Recovery has been characterised in serum (80-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81-100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (80-89%, average 84%), with consistent linearity demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
