Human Cadherin 26 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cadherin 26 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a capture antibody specific for Cadherin 26, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Cadherin 26 detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is visualised using TMB substrate, which produces a blue product that converts to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a reported range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.065 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 83%-100%, n=5), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 90%-103%, n=5) and 94% for Heparin plasma (range 90%-99%, n=5). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 (n=5) is 82%-108% for serum, 72%-107% for EDTA plasma and 84%-108% for Heparin plasma.
