Human Cadherin 16 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides this sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human Cadherin 16 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a biotinylated anti-Cadherin 16 detection antibody together with HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of 0.038 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. In spike-and-recovery testing, average recoveries were 91% for serum (n=5, range 83–100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90–103%) and 95% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 89–102%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
