Human C4 Binding Protein Beta ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human C4 Binding Protein/C4BPB ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human C4 Binding Protein/C4BPB in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, on which a specific capture antibody immobilises C4BPB from standards and test samples. Bound analyte is then detected using a Biotinylated Anti-C4BPB Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, with the enzymatic reaction visualised by TMB substrate, yielding colour proportional to C4BPB concentration that is read at 450 nm on a colourmetric microplate reader.

The assay has a quantitative range of 0.468-30 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.17 ng/ml, and a total run time of 4h 30m. Reported mean recovery is 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity data are provided for each sample type at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
