Human C-Type Natriuretic Peptide ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human C-Type Natriuretic Peptide in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The standard sandwich immunoassay workflow employs a biotinylated anti-C-type natriuretic peptide detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction yields a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the density of yellow proportional to the amount of analyte captured in each well.

Per the manufacturer's validation data, the assay has a working range of 62.5-4000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <26.4 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery averages were 91% in serum (n=5, range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum (n=5); 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma (n=5). The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers; components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
