Human C-Type Lectin Domain Family 4, Member K ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables quantitative in vitro determination of human Langerin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) coated with an antibody specific for Langerin, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Langerin Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate detection step, with TMB substrate read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported performance figures include a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.039 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery averaged 91% (range 83–100%) in serum (n=5), 95% (range 91–99%) in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 94% (range 90–99%) in Heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 produced recoveries of 81–110%, 82–98%, 90–100% and 80–108% for serum; 91–97%, 90–107%, 70–108% and 89–93% for EDTA plasma; and 86–104%, 79–103%, 95–99% and 86–110% for Heparin plasma.

Kit components comprise a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml), and 5 adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at -20°C or +4°C as indicated and should not be used past the kit expiration date.
