Human C-Type Lectin Domain Family 11, Member A ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human SCGF (also catalogued as C-Type Lectin Domain Family 11, Member A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for SCGF, employing a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique in which standards and samples are added to the wells and the target is captured by the immobilised antibody.

After washing, a biotinylated anti-SCGF antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The kit has a stated assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.51 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Validated recovery ranges at n=5 are reported for serum (83–100%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (90–98%, average 94%) and heparin plasma (89–102%, average 95%). Linearity has been evaluated across sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
