Human C-Terminal Binding Protein 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CTBP2 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. A specific anti-CTBP2 antibody is pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by Biotinylated Anti-CTBP2 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The optical density is read at 450 nm in a colourmetric microplate reader and the result is calculated against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 0.125 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate platform arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Supplied kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers; components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
