Human C-Raf Proto Oncogene Serine/Threonine Protein Kinase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Raf1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay targets C-Raf Proto Oncogene Serine/Threonine Protein Kinase and is reactive with human samples.

The kit uses a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format. An antibody specific for Raf1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added and Raf1 present is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Raf1 Antibody binds the captured Raf1, followed by addition of HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Raf1 captured. Concentration is calculated by reading absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader against the standard curve.

Key specifications include a sensitivity of 0.055 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, and an assay time of 4h 30m. Detection is colorimetric and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The product is for research use only.
