Human C-Mer Proto Oncogene Tyrosine Kinase ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MERTK in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The method uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-MERTK detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with MERTK concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.113 ng/ml, a quantitative range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%, n=5), with dilution linearity data provided at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for the same matrices.
