Human BTG3 Associated Nuclear Protein ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human BANP (BTG3 Associated Nuclear Protein) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for BANP pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells and bound by the immobilised antibody, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-BANP Antibody, then an HRP-Avidin conjugate. After washing, TMB substrate is added to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and BANP concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The platform is a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips, and detection is colourimetric. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%) across dilution ranges from 1:2 to 1:16.
