Human Bruton'S Tyrosine Kinase ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase (BTK) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with a BTK-specific capture antibody, followed by a biotinylated anti-BTK detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.059 ng/ml and the product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. The complete assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery validation in serum (n=5) gave a range of 82% - 102% with a 92% average; EDTA plasma (n=5) returned 91% - 98% (94% average); and heparin plasma (n=5) returned 86% - 101% (93% average). Linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across these sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the manual and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
