Human Bridging Integrator 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human BIN1 (also known as Bridging Integrator 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm, employing a biotinylated anti-BIN1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate visualised with TMB substrate.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of <0.51 pg/ml and an assay range of 1.56-100 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. In n=5 sample recovery testing, average recovery was 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C depending on the reagent, and the product is intended for research use only.
