Human Bone Morphogenetic Protein Receptor 1B ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human BMPR1B in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for BMPR1B pre-coated onto a microplate.

Standards and samples are added to the wells and BMPR1B present is captured by the immobilised antibody. Following incubation, wells are washed and incubated with a biotinylated anti-BMPR1B antibody, then with HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the HRP reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration of BMPR1B is calculated by reference to a standard curve. Reported sensitivity is 0.134 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, and total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is for research use only.
