Human Bone Morphogenetic Protein Receptor 1A ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Bone Morphogenetic Protein Receptor 1A (BMPR1A) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for BMPR1A pre-coated onto a microplate, a biotinylated anti-BMPR1A detection antibody, and an HRP–avidin conjugate visualised with TMB substrate. Absorbance is read on a colourimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with colour intensity proportional to BMPR1A concentration.

The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of <0.11 ng/ml and a quantitative working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a typical run time of approximately 4h 30m. Internal validation with serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples (n=5 each) returned mean recoveries of 91%, 94%, and 95% respectively, with reported ranges of 83–100%, 90–98%, and 89–102%. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
