Human Bone Morphogenetic Protein 15 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Bone Morphogenetic Protein 15 (BMP15) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

A 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) is pre-coated with an antibody specific for BMP15. Standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-BMP15 detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader; colour intensity is directly proportional to BMP15 concentration. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed.

The standard curve spans 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.054 ng/ml. Reported recoveries (n=5) average 91% for serum (range 83%–100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 90%–103%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 89%–102%).
