Human Betacellulin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Betacellulin (BTC) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-BTC detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Captured BTC is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.064 ng/ml across an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery averages are 91% in serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5). Dilutional linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
