Human beta Nerve Growth Factor ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human beta Nerve Growth Factor in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma. The assay shows no significant cross-reactivity and detects both native and recombinant human β-NGF.

Sensitivity is reported at <0.78 pg/ml across an assay range of 15.63 – 1000 pg/ml, with an average recovery of 98% from serum samples. Detection is colorimetric on a microplate platform, using a biotin-linked detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP. Substrate reaction is stopped by acid and results are read by optical density.

Standards and samples are pipetted into microwells pre-coated with a monoclonal antibody specific for human β-NGF. Kits should be stored at +4°C and not used past the expiration date.
