Human Beta-1,4-Galactosyltransferase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Beta-1,4-Galactosyltransferase 1 (B4GALT1). The assay is compatible with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, and uses a pre-coated microplate read at 450 nm with a colorimetric TMB substrate and acidic stop solution.

Detection range is quoted as 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.57 ng/ml. The workflow uses a biotinylated anti-B4GALT1 detection antibody followed by HRP-avidin conjugate, and takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma averages between 84% and 91% across the tested samples.
