Human Bcl2 Like Protein 11 ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com kit is a sandwich ELISA designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Bcl2 Like Protein 11 (Bim) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for Bim immobilised on the wells. Standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-Bim detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Performance figures quoted by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 0.114 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Average recovery has been validated at 91% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma, and 95% in heparin plasma, with dilution linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across these same sample types. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the manual, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
