Human Bcl2 Associated Athanogene 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Bcl2 Associated Athanogene 3 (Bag3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Bag3. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Bag3 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm.

The product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 0.069 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The platform is a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed. Reported recovery for undiluted samples averages 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%), with parallel ranges provided for serial two-fold dilutions.
