Human B-Lymphocyte Activation Antigen B7-2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD86 (B-Lymphocyte Activation Antigen B7-2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for CD86 is pre-coated onto a microtiter plate, where standards and samples are added; captured CD86 is then bound by a biotinylated anti-CD86 antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate to produce a colour change read at 450 nm.

The assay has a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.062 ng/ml, with an assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. It is run on a colourimetric microplate reader and is suitable for cell lysates, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.

Recovery performance has been validated in human serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Mean recoveries fall within the reported ranges: serum 82–102% (average 92%, n=5), EDTA plasma 90–102% (average 96%, n=5), and heparin plasma 88–100% (average 94%, n=5).
