Human B-Cell Leukemia/Lymphoma 2 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides this sandwich ELISA for the quantitative determination of human Bcl-2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with biotinylated anti-Bcl-2 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. After incubation with TMB substrate, absorbance is read at 450nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Bcl-2 is calculated from a standard curve. The working range is 1.56-100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.57 ng/ml, and the complete assay runs in 4h 30m. Reported recovery in serum averages 94% (range 87-101%), in EDTA plasma 95% (90-101%), and in heparin plasma 96% (91-102%), each across n=5. Kit components include a lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
