Human Axis Inhibition Protein 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Axin 2 (Axis Inhibition Protein 2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which standards and test samples are captured by an immobilised antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-Axin 2 antibody and visualised using an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution and the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with Axin 2 concentrations calculated by reference to a standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Stated sensitivity is <0.112 ng/ml and the working assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml. Recovery data showed serum averaging 91% (n=5, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma averaging 90% (n=5, range 81–100%) and heparin plasma averaging 84% (n=5, range 80–89%). Across dilution ratios of 1:2 to 1:16, recoveries ranged from 74% to 107% in serum, 79% to 108% in EDTA plasma and 82% to 105% in heparin plasma (n=5 per sample type).
