Human Attractin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Attractin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) pre-coated with an antibody specific for Attractin. Standards and samples are added to the wells, which are then washed and incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-Attractin Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, the colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, and Attractin concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.141 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Sample recovery is 80-102% (average 91%) for serum (n=5), 81-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 80-89% (average 84%) for Heparin plasma (n=5), with dilution linearity reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for each matrix. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
