Human ATPase, Cu++ Transporting Beta Polypeptide ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human ATPase, Cu++ Transporting Beta Polypeptide (ATP7b) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for ATP7b is pre-coated onto the microplate wells; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-ATP7b detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The resulting colourimetric reaction is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the yellow colour intensity proportional to ATP7b concentration.

Reported sensitivity is <0.056 ng/ml with a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the complete protocol takes 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, two detection solutions, wash buffer concentrate, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Validated sample types include serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenates, and cell lysates, with reported average recoveries of 91% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity (1:2 to 1:16) is reported within overall ranges of 72–110% across the validated matrices.
