Human ATP Binding Cassette Transporter C5 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MRP5, also referred to as ATP Binding Cassette Transporter C5, in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for MRP5 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-MRP5 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader; the O.D. value is proportional to the amount of MRP5 captured.

The kit is run on a pre-coated microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with a total assay time of 4h 30m and colourimetric detection. Reported sensitivity is 0.051 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Included components comprise lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120μl), Detection Solution B (120µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45ml), TMB Substrate (9ml), Stop Solution (6ml), and 5 adhesive plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reactivity is for human samples and the product is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
