Human Ataxia Telangiectasia Mutated ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ataxia Telangiectasia Mutated (ATM) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for ATM. Standards and samples are added, captured ATM is bound by a biotinylated anti-ATM detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate is then added. Signal is developed using TMB substrate, which changes from blue to yellow after addition of the acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm against a standard curve.

Quantitative performance includes a measurement range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.047 ng/ml. The full assay is completed in 4h 30m on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with colorimetric detection. In matrix recovery testing (n=5), serum averaged 91% (range 80%–102%), EDTA plasma averaged 90% (range 81%–100%) and heparin plasma averaged 84% (range 80%–89%). Dilution performance was characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
