Human Astacin Like Metallo Endopeptidase ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Astacin Like Metallo Endopeptidase (ASTL) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-ASTL detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate for colorimetric detection measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.060 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reagent components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.

Sample recovery averaged 91% for serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 respectively was 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma. The kit is suitable for use with tissue homogenates, serum, plasma collected with EDTA or heparin, cell culture supernatants, cell lysates and other biological fluids.
