Human Asporin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Asporin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-Asporin detection antibody in combination with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution, and the concentration of Asporin is calculated by reading the optical density at 450 nm in a microplate reader against a standard curve. The reported assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.118 ng/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Manufacturer validation reports average recovery values of 91% in serum (80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%, n=5). Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types.
