Human Aspartate Beta Hydroxylase ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Aspartate beta Hydroxylase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to wells coated with antibody specific for Aspartate beta Hydroxylase, then incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-Aspartate beta Hydroxylase Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the target concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

The standard curve covers a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported recovery averages 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
