Human Asparagine Synthetase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Asparagine Synthetase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a sandwich immunoassay format, using a Biotinylated Anti-Asparagine Synthetase Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate for colorimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The quantitative detection range is 0.781–50 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of 0.32 ng/ml, and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Component storage temperatures are specified at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.

Reported sample recovery values are: serum range 80%–102% with an average of 91%; EDTA plasma range 81%–100% with an average of 90%; and heparin plasma range 80%–89% with an average of 84%. Linearity is assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples. The kit comprises a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers.
