Human Arylsulfatase F ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Arylsulfatase F in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a microtitre plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Arylsulfatase F. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the target binds to the immobilised antibody. Following incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Arylsulfatase F Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, a TMB substrate solution is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. The intensity of yellow is proportional to the amount of Arylsulfatase F captured, which is calculated by reading the absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

Stated sensitivity is <0.112 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Performance evaluation across sample matrices (n=5 each) reported values of 80%-102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80%-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Dilutional linearity data is supplied for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. The platform is a pre-coated 96-well microplate read on a colorimetric microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
