Human Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Repressor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com's Assays and Kits range comes a sandwich ELISA designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Repressor (AHRR) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips), with an AHRR-specific antibody immobilised on the wells. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-AHRR Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the AHRR concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The quantitative sandwich assay has a stated sensitivity of <0.062 ng/ml and a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Reported sample recovery averages include 91% for serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5), with linearity data across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions also reported for each matrix. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
