Human Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for the target, with bound analyte detected using a biotinylated anti-Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Standard assay time is 4 h 30 m, with a measuring range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and sensitivity of <0.116 ng/ml. Spiked-sample recovery averaged 93% in serum (85–101%, n=5), 92% in EDTA plasma (86–99%, n=5) and 94% in Heparin plasma (87–101%, n=5). Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 yielded recoveries of 79–110% across serum, EDTA plasma and Heparin plasma samples.
