Human Artemin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Artemin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. It employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate platform, using an antibody specific for Artemin immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Artemin Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of the stop solution. The absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration of Artemin is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.056 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. The kit includes a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers.
